Thank you for dropping by!
Super pretty Mongs! They look so much cuter after you cut them a bit! The length is perfect on you now! I like that they are a darker color too, not a super bright floral. I'm still not 100% certain on the floral trend for myself, but we'll see!
ReplyDeleteCompletely needed cutting down. Looking lovely.
ReplyDeletei love that you have both the eye and the talent to know and create what you want in fashion!
ReplyDeleteVery nice top and pants!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love the Blouse :)

great look, i love it ;)

Your refashions always turn out well.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job on those shorts! I love that the dominant color is navy blue - this seems to make them easier to pair with a variety of tops. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, floral is not something I've liked before, but I'm slowly warming up to it. :)
Lovely look as always! I definitely love the shorter one after. I love floral shorts too :)) Great post! xo akiko

I love the pattern on the pants-turned-shorts and envy your handiness (I would have cut them crooked, lol!). :)

ReplyDeleteWow, these look amazing. Just found your fantatsic blog!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! I love how the shorts look a lot better than when it was cropped. I love the thrifted shoes as well. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your new shorts! I would wear them in a heart beat. Maybe I will have to find a thirft store around here and look for more florals.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love what you did with the shorts!

I love your shorts. I have to start shopping at thrift stores with an eye to changing things up and re-making my own things! You are such an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun outfit! Love the mix of textures and colors!

mongs, oh my awesome! i want that blouse too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you cut off the pants and it instantly looks so modern and it fits better on you. That's a great idea though just chopping off pants that fit right on the top section and making them into shorts. I'll see if I can get into the floral obsession...

Another fantastic DIY! I love how you shortened the shorts...those 'clam diggers?' definitely were overwhelming and dated so this is a great new look. I also love the red bag!
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought those shorts were from those pants. Incredible. The detailing and color of your top is wonderful and makes the pink the shorts pop. Wonderful as always!
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amazing me. This is so cute!!! I love the shorts.
ReplyDeleteCreamy
You have a gift for being able to see a refashion! I would've passed on those pants and look what you did with them! They are incredible now and your outfit is amazing! I love the mix of patterns with the top and the red bag is gorgeous! And with the added sunnies, you look chic and elegant and oh, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love it! great re-fashion. The top is my favorite!

Hi Mongs! I love what you've done with your shorts. The length is so much more flattering. It's amazing what a few inches can do!

Shubhi's Revels!
Making the pants shorter is a good idea , specially for summer and it is also looking more fashionable. The addition of those fabulous looking glasses and the red bag has given a sophisticated look to the whole outfit.
ReplyDeleteMongs, I believe that this refashioning is a cool idea, you are looking very chic in casuals.
take care,
Sanghamitra

Good thing you have the vision to see past the original hideous style - can't imagine who they'd have been flattering on before! But now they look great, really cute and you always suit shorts. Thanks so much for linking up - should be up next Tuesday too x

Love those floral shorts! You have an amazing eye to be able to see the possibility in those pants, I was not a fan but I LOVE them as shorts, they look so good on you and effortless for summer :)
ReplyDeleteAwayFromTheBlue.blogspot.com.au
Would have to agree that the initial length is neither here nor there..I would say this is more of a tropical print that floral since the flowers are huge and lovely! Definitely a score!
ReplyDeleteMongs your are awesome! I don't have other words to describe what u do with your 10fingers!!!

The shortened version looks much nicer :) I'm not a huge fan of floral prints in general, but this outfit is great with the blouse keeping it soft and yet nice red accents.
