We had a sweet mother's day celebration at church. My older boy gave me a jar of candies and my little one gave me a cute drawing. I felt a tinge of sadness because this is the first mother's day without my mom. I still think of her a lot. But at the same time, I am filled with heartfelt thanks for my boys. Happy mother's day to all mommies out there!
The weather is awful... the heat was really unbearable. It took me less than 10 minutes for the outfit shots. As soon as I felt sweat trickling down my forehead, I couldn't wait to get home. And I couldn't bring myself to put on the cardi because it would be insane! This week's outfit inspiration at

I almost considered doing a Two-birds in my nighty which I was wearing this morning as it is like a shorter version of your dress- it looks like a dress rather than a nightie. Sorry, not saying yours looks like a nightie, I just mean, it made me think of my one! Your 'can't bear to put the cardie on is totally the opposite to my day, it was freezing, so I couldn't bare to wear a dress and so shoved trousers on!
